COUNTDOWN: 30 days 'til Pinewood Studios!

Let the 30 Days countdown begin!

English Lakes, Windermere, Lake District

English Lakes, Windermere, Lake District

Hey Family!

Hope you’ve been keeping well and warm these past few days.

At FCP in the last few days, Jermaine’s been taking notes and gaining a heap of information from his intensive finalists residential, which took place in the beautiful Lake District last weekend.

Jermaine received some excellent feedback regarding his pitch and script for The Day After, and was able to pick up a few gems to develop his next pitch, which is in exactly 30 days from today! He's been advised to try and incorporate some of his Spoken Word into the Pitch to really give them a treat too! (Praise God for this unique gift!)

Our bid to win an outstanding £30,000 fund for our film to be made will surely not come easy BUT we are trusting in God and are more than determined to do all the work and learning necessary (as well as enjoy the entire process), in order to reach that goal.

Like mentioned in our previous blog post, the pitch will entail an in-depth 20 minute interview in front of the judging panel at Pinewood studios. It will be there that they will announce the winner of this competition!!

So keep us in your prayers and wish us luck!

Not many people know about this fantastic competition and they hold it every year! If you would like to read more about it, click here for the link.

And speaking of luck…. We are looking for some extras (age 18+) to come and participate in filming a New Year's Eve party scene for an episode of our new upcoming web-series New Years Eve. You’ll need to be available for filming 6th January 2018 (pm).

You've just gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?"

Wishing you a lovely week.

Final round for Final Call Productions

day after pic thumbnail.jpg

Hey lovely people!

The wait is now over (and by this we mean a few weeks!)

We’ve got some exciting news to catch you up with. A few weeks ago, we mentioned a competition called The Pitch that we’ve entered (to win a whopping £30k) to make a new short film called The Day After. Well… the wait is now over and we are extremely proud to announce, that after being shortlisted, WE MADE IT TO THE FINAL ROUND!!!

Check out the trailer which got us this far here

It was a long and agonising wait for the team to get the results, they were published a shy 1 day after the set deadline, twas slowly killing us inside... lol But it was definitely worth the wait!

As you know we haven’t quite won yet but as a top 10 finalist we have won an amazing experience,  a residential course in the Lake District where Jermaine will get the chance to consult with Screenwriter and Media Consultant Laurie Hutzler and prepare for "The Pitch" where we will get to pitch our film to a panel at ...wait for it... one of the world's leading destinations for the makers of film & television.. Pinewood Studios! The winner will be announced on the 15th January.

Now please keep us in your prayers because we’ve got the perfect film in mind which will truly deliver FCP style. With God at the forefront and the captain of our ship we’re ready to sail the seas to win this big prize and beyond!

This competition is held every year so If you would like to read more about the competition, click here for the link.

Stay blessed and thanks for reading

New Years Eve Web-series

FCP is excited to bring you our latest venture.....

unhappy-couple.jpg

Our brand new web series 'New Years Eve' pursues Paige and Terence and their moving expedition through the trials and tribulations of life. Ultimately, a tale of loss and how that loss alters the devotion of a couple and their trust in Christ.

Revealed in six episodes, viewers will watch as the New Years Eve story begins, at the end!! In the opening instalment, Paige and Terence have already endured a tragedy. As the story unfolds, we will visit the couple each year on New Year's Eve and find out what life has thrown at them in the past 12 months. The sixth and final chapter ends on New Years Eve at the beginning of their union, when the couple first meet!...Genius!

For Auld Lang Syne.png

Some of our very early FCP followers may remember the stage performance we performed just a few times called 'For Auld Lang Syne'.... Well that stage show now has a new name, updated script and has transformed into New Years Eve screenplay! So if you were fortunate enough to see the play you'll know there's an amazing story to look forward to!

"SO.....When can we watch this amazing series?!" I hear you cry!

With the final edit of the script complete, auditions organised and a film crew prepped, we are hoping to release New Years Eve early in the New year! (2018) We're planning to have a screening of the whole thing and then the episodes will be released weekly online! Exciting stuff!

How can i get involved?
