headliner at MARCH transcendence
Marjorie Agwang, better known by her stage name Marjorie Diamond, is a British spoken-word artist/actress. She studied Law and Media Communications at University but has always had a place in her heart for the creative arts especially acting and writing. Her love for writing poetry started in 2013 when she went through a life changing bereavement and went to the pen and paper to simply journal, vent and channel her thoughts. Which then turned into poetry pieces. Marjorie's recent poetry event was at Rhema arts UK where she was the competition winner performing alongside other head line artists. Marjorie is currently working on her EP which is due to be released this year. Marjorie hopes to encourage those who hear her words and to bring life and hope. Faith is her foundation.
EJ started writing way back when he was in secondary school, armed with only a guitar and a lot of teenage emotion. Thankfully those questionable ballads have all been lost somewhere in his parents loft. However, 2 years ago he decided to put pen back to paper in an attempt to battle the creative numbness that an out of work actor deals with daily. His poetry is inspired by all the challenges of being 20 something in today's world, he doesn't have many answers or conclusions, mostly questions and confusions.
